The purpose of this study is to determine the Economic Optimum Nitrogen Rate (EONR) when applying 60 units of nitrogen (N) in a 2x2x2 application at planting and the remainder of N applied with a V3 sidedress application.

An interesting phenomenon Beck's has observed since Beck's migrated Beck's up-front nitrogen application into a 2x2x2 band is that Beck's is more efficient and experience better ROIs at lower rates. These results have been consistent across multiple years and locations. One thing to note is that while the yields continued to increase with added nitrogen, the ROIs did not.
