Municipalities
Cemetery mowing is trim mowing. Your crew works between markers, around fence lines, monuments, flag poles and mature trees, then still has open lawn to finish before the day ends. We sell and service this equipment for municipal grounds crews across Ohio and Indiana, and we know what holds up.

The slow part of a cemetery is not the open lawn, it is the stopping and starting around stones. A QuikTrak stand-on lets an operator step off at a monument, hand trim and step back on without climbing in and out of a seat, and the shorter wheelbase turns inside tight rows. Many crews pair one with a compact zero-turn so two operators can leapfrog sections. We will bring both to your grounds and let your operators compare on the same ground.

Older sections and newly platted ground mow like any municipal lawn, and that is where deck width pays. A larger commercial zero-turn covers open acreage quickly, and a front mower reaches under low branches and cuts flush along curbs and walks better than a mid-mount. EFI models help when a cemetery route has a lot of idling between stops. One wide machine for the open work keeps your trim mower doing only trim work.

Koenig has been local and family-owned since 1904. We serve landowners, contractors and municipalities across Ohio and Indiana because this is our community. Our neighbors are buried in these cemeteries and our kids go to school with yours, so the advice we give carries our reputation. We stock parts for this equipment, our technicians are trained on it, and we will arrange a demo on your site. We come to you with solutions and we keep your work moving.

Every machine here earns its place on the trailer. Tell us the job and we will spec the shortest kit that covers it.

Your primary production mower for open sections and lawn panels. Smaller frames handle row work, larger decks close out acreage fast.
Z720E · Z730M · Z740R · Z760R · Z950M · Z955M EFI

Out-front decks reach under low limbs and trim flush to curbs, walks and columbarium pads. A good fit for crews covering several properties.
1570 · 1580 · 1600 Turbo TerrainCut™ (Four-Post ROPS Canopy) · 1600 Turbo TerrainCut™ (Two-Post ROPS)

Handles the work a mower cannot: grave prep support, loader work, gravel drives and hauling topsoil. About 40% of crews like yours also run a loader.
2032R · 2038R · 3033R · 3038E

Moves operators, trimmers, water and flowers through narrow drives without tearing turf. The second machine most municipal crews add.
XUV560E · XUV590M · XUV590M S4

Tractor-mounted finish decks for large open sections and expansion ground where a wide, uniform cut matters more than maneuvering.
GM2060R · GM2072R · GM2084R · GM4072

For back acreage, easements and unplatted ground that only needs knocking down a few times a season.

For dense sections with many upright markers, a QuikTrak stand-on usually wins because the operator steps off and back on constantly. For open lawn and newer flush-marker sections, a zero-turn with a wider deck finishes faster. Most municipal crews we work with end up running one of each.
Around three is typical for the crews we see: a mower for trim work, something wider for open ground, and a utility vehicle to move people and hand tools. Only about 1 in 10 run three or more mowing machines. We would rather size it to your acreage than sell you a fleet.
Yes. We will arrange a demo on your site so your operators can run it between your own markers and drives. A cemetery is the one place a spec sheet tells you very little.
