Gravel Drive and Brush Equipment for 5 to 15 Acres

A long gravel drive that washes every spring and fence lines that close in by July are the two jobs that define acreage ownership. We fit one compact tractor to both, so you grade in April, cut brush all summer, and keep the same machine busy year round.

Most acreage drives need grading twice a year here.
Around half our acreage Customers cut brush monthly, not weekly.
Loader and box blade usually outwork the mower deck.
Undersized cutters stall in two-year growth almost every time.

One Tractor, Both Jobs

Sizing starts with the cutter, not the drive. A tractor that can grade gravel all day may still lug down in heavy brush, so we pick the horsepower and hydraulics that carry both. On 5 to 15 acres the 2025R and 2032R handle a moderate drive and light growth, while the 3038E and 3033R give you the weight and PTO power for thick stands and steeper ditch banks.

Fixing the Drive, Not Chasing It

Grading a gravel drive is mostly about moving material back to the center before the crown disappears. A box blade with scarifiers breaks the hardpan, pulls stone out of the ditch, and levels potholes in one pass instead of dumping new gravel every year. Match it to your tractor width so the tires run on ground you already cut, and the drive holds its shape between rains.

Brush That Fights Back

Fence rows, timber edges and back pasture grow faster than anyone plans for. A rotary cutter rated for saplings, not just tall grass, is what keeps a once-a-month pass realistic. Lighter models suit maintained trails and pasture, and the heavy duty units are built for the material that has been standing two seasons. We will bring one out and cut a strip on your property before you decide.

Questions we get on this job

What is the Liberty Package?

It bundles a compact tractor, loader and the implements for your job into one monthly figure instead of separate purchases. For acreage owners that usually means the tractor, loader, box blade and rotary cutter together. We will build the package around the work you described and show you the monthly number before anything is signed.

Can one tractor really do both the drive and the brush?

Yes, and that is how most acreage Customers run. The limiting factor is almost always the rotary cutter, since a tractor sized only for grading will bog in heavy growth. We size for the brush first, and the drive work follows comfortably.

What size rotary cutter do I need for 5 to 15 acres?

It depends more on what you are cutting than how many acres you own. Maintained pasture and trails are fine with a standard-duty cutter, while two-year saplings along a fence row call for a heavy duty model. Tell us what is standing out there and we will match it to your tractor's PTO horsepower.

Can I see one work on my property first?

We will arrange a demo on your own drive and your own brush, which is the only honest way to judge it. We have been family-owned in Ohio and Indiana since 1904, we stock parts for this equipment, and our technicians are trained on it. We come to you with solutions.
