Tractor Service & Repair in Tipp City, OH

Quick service... got our tractor going again during busy season after a part corroded because we hadn't been consistently greasing it. Below my own estimate of costs by over 10% and friendly professional help... been going here over 10 years.

I went to Koenig to shop for a tractor. Though no one was at the door to greet me, I was helped promptly. My salesman was thorough and honest in answering all if my questions. I was even taken into the parts are to see some answers instead if simply having them explained or shown in a brochure. The attention to my needs impressed me greatly. I also appreciated the general conversation the salesman had with me. I would be happy to give this store my business anytime.

For several years I had John Deere tractor serviced at this facility. This summer I requested a technician to come to my home. He arrived at 9:10 am and left at 9:38. He fixed the issue. When I received the bill I was charged for 1 full hour of service and 105.00 for the technician to come to my home. I live 9.4 miles from the tipp service center. I called the service center immediately. I was told Angie handled all billing I was told this by the service manager. She was out that day and instructed to call back on Tuesday which I did. Again, Angie was not due back until Friday. I called for a third time again no Angie. I left her a voicemail about my concerns. Several weeks pasted and I did not purposely follow up due to the three times I had already phoned. No callback from anyone. I then called Angie. She said didn't the service manager phone u back. I said NO. She indicated I was in zone 3 for a home visit. I left it at that . I made a decision not to deal with the service center again. I went in myself and paid the account off. I spoke to the service manager and made it clear to him what my concerns were. I would no longer be using this center to service my tractor. He made many inconsistent statements. Making the situation worse. I left. I called the corporate office and made them aware of my concerns. She said she would call me back once she researched the procedures involved since she was not in the field. One week passed and I received a check for the balance I paid off. She also stayed an error was made on the fee to come to my home. 35.00 was refunded. The other issues would be handled in house that involved training. I thanked her. I was hesitant to review this on Google due to the severity of the many issues involved at this particular service center. I decided it was necessary do so other patrons would have information to make an informed decision on whether to use this center. The corporate office made an attempt to correct the issues which I do appreciate. 4-16-24 I called them for help with my tractor. They have a new sales manager John. He is very customer oriented . Professional and listens closely. The technician Aaron is very knowledgeable and has excellent customer service skills. I will have to say this Koening has done a 360. I highly recommend this establishment. Keep up the excellent work.

The folks at Tipp City Koenig went above and beyond when I went to pick up my Gator from having a snow blade installed. I had an issue with the Uhaul trailer I got and they stepped in and fixed the problem and got me on my way in no time at all. They are top notch in the service department! I really appreciate their assistance!

They had exactly what I needed, drive belt for my tractor. Friendly staff was a great help. I also liked the monitor at the order desk had the same screen the staff was using. This helped in identifying possible other parts that might be needed in the future. I will shop here again.

This review is in two parts: about Koenig Equipment and about the John Deere tractor I purchased through them. Part 1: Koenig Equipment (Tipp City, OH) is a first-class operation. First impression in-person was entering a clean, well-orgainized store displying everything a person could want in the way of yard and garden (and farm) tools. Ready-to-go machines, common wear-and-tear parts, and maintenance supplies were all readily available. Friendly staff helped me select the repair parts, lubricants, and accessories I needed to keep my equipment in tip-top shape. Staff in the parts department helped get the right not-in-stock parts ordered pronto, and the service department got me scheduled right away for some in-shop heavy repairs I needed. First impression on the phone was also great ~ a very cordial receptionist gave me immediate satisfaction with answers to my questions about pickup and delivery, time scheduling, and billing. Overall a wonderful experience working with these people. Part 2: I could not be more pleased with the John Deere 2032R tractor (with loader and drive-over 72-inch mower) I purchased through Koenig. (It was time to upgrade my old model 4200 that had run its course, and Koenig gave me a very generous trade-in allowance on it.) Of all the machines on display and advertised in available brochures, the staff helped me select exactly the right size tractor and attachments to maintain my yard, garden, and mini-farm (6+ acres). I have used it for mowing, digging, and some light hauling. (I'll be installing my ballast on the three-point hitch for heavy lifting and stump pulling.) Doing the paper work was a breeze with all details easily covered, and John Deere Financial offered an excellent payment plan. [For future tractor buyers I would like to point out only one glitch in my purchase I didn't think about at the time: the Roll-Over Protection (ROP = roll bar) was too tall to go into my garage. Fortunately on this model there is a provision for folding it down, so it's only a minor inconvenience to raise it for safety before going to work with the tractor.]
