Is the John Deere ZTrak Z535R right for you?

The Customer looking at this class of zero-turn is usually someone with a couple of acres at home, maybe a rental property or two, who mows regularly and wants a machine that holds up season after season without becoming a project. They are weighing cut quality and comfort against price, and they want to know the machine will still be worth something if they ever decide to sell it. The Z535R fits that profile well. It comes in $600 less than the Toro at list price, moves a half-mile-per-hour faster, and sits you in a taller, deeper seat with armrests that the Toro simply does not offer. The wider drive tires and larger front casters also give you a more planted, stable feel on uneven ground.

The Toro does cut a wider swath at 60 inches versus 54, so if raw acreage throughput is the only thing on your list, that is worth noting. But the Z535R backs you with a 4-year, 500-hour bumper-to-bumper warranty against Toro's 3-year, 300-hour coverage, which is real protection for a machine you plan to run hard. John Deere resale also tends to hold better than most competitors in this region.

Our team at Koenig has stores across Indiana and Ohio, genuine John Deere parts on the shelf, and service technicians who know these machines well. Come talk with us and we can put you on one to see how it feels.
