Is the John Deere ZTrak Z535M right for you?

The Customer looking at this class of zero-turn is usually someone with a larger residential lot or a small commercial property, maybe two to four acres, who mows regularly and wants a machine that holds up season after season without a lot of drama. They are weighing cut quality, comfort, and whether the mower will still be worth something in five or six years. The Z535M checks those boxes in a straightforward way. You get 25 horsepower against the Kubota's 22, which matters when you are pushing through thick late-summer growth or wet grass. The M44 Cyclonic engine pairs with the Accel Deep deck, and that combination moves air and clippings efficiently so you are not doubling back over clumps. You also get a slightly faster top speed at 8.5 mph versus 8 mph, and the larger front caster tires give you better ground contact on uneven terrain.

The Kubota does come standard with mulching and offers a high-back seat, so it is fair to note those differences. But the Z535M gives you deck size options up to 62 inches, MulchControl is available as an add-on when you want it, and the list price on the 48-inch model comes in noticeably lower than the Kubota's comparable configuration. Resale on John Deere turf equipment holds well across this region, and having Koenig stores across Indiana and Ohio means genuine parts and service support are close by when you need them.

If you want to walk through which deck size fits your property and talk through financing options, our team here is glad to help you work through it.
