Is the John Deere ZTrak Z370R right for you?

Most Customers looking at battery-powered zero-turns are homeowners who want a quieter, lower-maintenance mow without sacrificing the feel of a real commercial-style machine. They are weighing whether a big-box battery brand can actually hold up like a purpose-built zero-turn. That is a fair question, and the specs tell a pretty clear story here. The Z370R carries a single 3.56 kilowatt-hour battery sealed to an IP66 rating, meaning it is genuinely protected against water jets, not just splash. The EGO's four-battery setup totals only 2.24 kilowatt-hours and carries an IPx4 splash rating. More capacity, better protection, and one battery to manage instead of four.

The Z370R also gives you a choice of a 42- or 48-inch Accel Deep deck, wider front casters for better stability on uneven ground, and an onboard charger so you are not hunting for a separate unit in the garage. The EGO does offer a slightly higher travel speed and mulching comes standard, while mulching on the Z370R is an optional add-on worth factoring into your budget. That said, the Z370R backs you with a 5-year battery warranty and a full bumper-to-bumper equipment warranty, and when something needs attention, you have a local Koenig service team across Indiana and Ohio with genuine John Deere parts on the shelf.

If you want to see the Z370R in person or talk through which deck size fits your property, stop in or reach out to your local Koenig store and we will walk through it with you.
