Is the John Deere ZTrak Z370R right for you?

Most Customers looking at battery-powered zero-turns are weighing two things: how long it will actually run before they need to plug it in, and whether the machine will still be worth something in five years. On the first question, the Z370R carries a 3.56 kilowatt-hour maximum battery versus the Cub Cadet's 3.00 kilowatt-hour pack, and its onboard charger pushes 700 watts through a standard 120-volt outlet compared to the ZT1 42E's 660-watt, 110-volt setup. That combination means more runtime per session and a faster return to full charge. If your property is on the larger side, that margin matters on a hot afternoon.

The Z370R also gives you a choice: a 42-inch or a 48-inch Accel Deep deck, so you are not locked into one cut width the way you are with the Cub Cadet. The Cub Cadet does include a mulching system as standard where John Deere's MulchControl is an add-on, so that is a fair point. That said, the Z370R backs you with a five-year battery warranty compared to four years on the ZT1 42E, and the bumper-to-bumper coverage is a true three years with no commercial-use carve-outs buried in the fine print the way the Cub Cadet warranty carries.

Beyond the specs, you are buying into a support network that matters. Genuine John Deere parts, local technicians who know this machine, and Koenig stores across Indiana and Ohio mean you are not waiting on a third-party repair shop when the season is in full swing. Come talk with our team and we can walk you through which deck size fits your property best.
