Is the John Deere ZTrak Z345R right for you?

The Customer looking at this class of zero-turn is usually someone with a half-acre to a couple of acres, a yard they take seriously, and no interest in fighting their mower every weekend. They want something that starts reliably, cuts cleanly, and holds up season after season without a lot of drama. Both the Z345R and the Toro TimeCutter 75742 share the same 42-inch cut width and top forward speed, so on paper they look close. But a few real differences start to matter once you get past the spec sheet.

The Z345R runs wider drive tires at 18x8.5 versus the Toro's 18x7.5, which gives you better traction and a more stable footprint on slopes or soft ground. The seat is taller at 18 inches with full armrests compared to the Toro's 16-inch seat, and after an hour on a warm afternoon that extra support is noticeable. The Toro does carry a longer warranty and comes in about half a point higher on horsepower, so we will not pretend otherwise. But the Z345R's Accel Deep deck has a proven cut quality, and the optional MulchControl attachment gives you real flexibility that a fixed mulch setup does not.

What tips most Customers toward the Z345R is what happens after the purchase. Genuine John Deere parts, local service technicians, and a dealer network across Indiana and Ohio means you are not shipping a mower somewhere or waiting weeks for a part. Stop in and talk with our team about which setup fits your yard and how we can get you running.
