Is the John Deere ZTrak Z315E right for you?

The Customer looking at these two mowers is usually a homeowner with a mid-size yard who wants a reliable zero-turn that will start every spring and hold its value. You are not buying a commercial rig, but you want something built to last and backed by people who can actually help you when something goes wrong. The Cub Cadet ZT1 42 does have a slight edge on paper with 21.5 hp versus the Z315E's 20 hp, and its seat back runs a couple inches taller. We will be straight with you about that. But for a residential lawn, 20 hp handles everything you will throw at it, and the Z315E's 18x8.5-8 drive tires give you a wider footprint than the Cub Cadet's 20x8-8, which translates to better traction and less turf disturbance on softer ground.

Where the John Deere really separates itself is what happens after the sale. The Z315E carries a 3-year bumper-to-bumper warranty backed by Koenig's stores across Indiana and Ohio, with genuine John Deere parts on the shelf and technicians who know this machine. Resale on John Deere equipment consistently runs stronger than comparable Cub Cadet models, so the mower holds its value if you ever trade up.
