A straight, spec-by-spec look for gator buyers across Ohio and Indiana. The numbers are only half the decision.
The Customer looking at the XUV590M is usually someone who needs a hardworking utility vehicle for the farm, property, or job site — someone who hauls materials, tows equipment, and covers rough ground regularly. They want a machine that keeps up without a lot of fuss. The Gator XUV590M brings 32 hp to that job, and while Kawasaki does not publish a horsepower figure for the Mule Pro-MX EPS, that published 32 hp gives you a concrete number to plan around. The Gator also gives you a longer cargo box at 47.6 inches versus 44.1 inches on the Mule, which matters when you are loading longer material or an awkward piece of equipment.
We will be straight with you: the Mule Pro-MX EPS does carry a higher rated payload at 699 lb compared to the Gator's 500 lb, and it offers a bit more suspension travel front and rear. If raw cargo weight is your single deciding factor, that is worth noting. But for most Customers, towing capacity is equally important, and both machines match at 1,500 lb. The Gator's anti-roll bar and fully independent suspension with adjustable coil-over shocks deliver a composed, controlled ride across uneven terrain that holds up well over a long day of work.
What tips the scale for most Customers we talk to is what happens after the purchase. Koenig has stores across Indiana and Ohio, which means genuine John Deere parts, trained technicians, and real support when you need it most. Come talk with our team and we will help you match the right machine to how you actually work.
