Is the John Deere Gator XUV 825E Gas right for you?

The Customer shopping in this space usually works a farm, manages a large property, or runs a crew that needs to haul serious loads day in and day out. They are not just looking for a fun ride around the back forty. They need a machine that earns its keep. That is where the Gator XUV 825E separates itself. The cargo box carries up to 1,000 pounds compared to the Viking's 600 pounds, and the towing capacity matches at 1,500 pounds on both sides, so the Deere is not giving anything up there. When you are moving feed, fence posts, or equipment across rough ground, that extra 400 pounds of box capacity is a real difference by the end of the day.

On the ride quality side, the 825E runs fully independent dual A-arm suspension front and rear with adjustable coils and a rear sway bar, giving you 8 inches of front travel and 9 inches in the rear. The Viking runs a double wishbone setup but Yamaha does not publish travel numbers, so you are comparing a known quantity against an unknown. The 825E also runs a two-speed oil bath final drive, which holds up well under sustained work loads. Yamaha does edge out on fuel capacity at 9.7 gallons versus 7.3, so if range between fill-ups matters on your operation, that is worth noting honestly.

What tips the scale for most Customers we talk with is what happens after the purchase. Our service teams at Koenig stores across Indiana and Ohio know these machines, carry genuine John Deere parts, and can get you back running when downtime costs you money.
