Spec Comparison

John Deere Gator GS vs. CLUB CAR CARRYALL 300

A straight, spec-by-spec look for gator buyers across Ohio and Indiana. The numbers are only half the decision.

Is the John Deere Gator GS right for you?

The Customer looking at the Gator GS is usually someone who needs a dependable workhorse on a farm, large property, or commercial site. They are hauling materials regularly, sometimes over uneven ground, and they cannot afford downtime. What they are really weighing is whether a utility vehicle will hold up season after season, not just on day one. The Gator GS answers that question with a fully enclosed, oil-bath final drive that protects the drivetrain from dirt and moisture in a way the Carryall 300's listed forward/neutral/reverse setup simply does not match. The GS also brings noticeably more towing muscle, rated at 680 kg compared to the Carryall 300's 363 kg, which is a real difference when you are pulling a loaded trailer or a piece of equipment across the property.

The Club Car does edge out the GS on fuel capacity by about a third of a gallon, and that is worth acknowledging. But for most Customers, the towing advantage alone more than offsets a slightly smaller tank. Add in the GS's automotive-style front strut suspension for a smoother ride over rough terrain, and the long-term resale strength that comes with the John Deere name, and the value picture becomes clear.

If you want to walk through how the GS fits your specific operation, the team at your local Koenig store across Indiana and Ohio is ready to help you work through it.
