Is the John Deere 4075R right for you?
Most Customers looking at the 4075R versus the 4066R are running a full-time operation where they need the tractor to keep up with them across a long day, not the other way around. The 4075R brings 74.6 gross horsepower to the job compared to 65 hp on the 4066R, and that 9.6 hp gap is not just a number on paper. When you are running a loader, a finish mower, or a rotary cutter in heavier conditions, that extra engine power keeps you out of the throttle and out of trouble. Everything else on these two tractors is remarkably close: same hydraulic flow, same hitch category, same lift capacity, same wheelbase, and both available with the eHydro transmission you already know.
One honest note: if you spec the 4066R with the PowrReverser transmission, its PTO output actually edges ahead slightly at 54.2 hp versus 51.9 hp on the eHydro version. But most Customers in this segment choose the eHydro for good reason, and on that transmission the two tractors are dead even on PTO. Where the 4075R separates itself is at the engine, and that headroom matters when conditions change mid-field.
