Spec Comparison

John Deere 4052R HST/PRT vs. KUBOTA L5060 GST

A straight, spec-by-spec look for cut buyers across Ohio and Indiana. The numbers are only half the decision.

John Deere 2032R Compact Tractor

Is the John Deere 4052R HST/PRT right for you?

Most Customers looking at the 4052R and the Kubota L5060 are running a mix of loader work, finish mowing, and light tillage on anywhere from 20 to 100 acres. They want a tractor that keeps up all day without wearing them out, and they want it ready when they need it next season too. The Kubota is a solid machine, and we will be straight with you: it does show a higher rated PTO horsepower and a slightly greater hitch lift capacity at 24 inches behind the link arms. If you are regularly pushing the absolute limits of a Category 2 implement, that is worth knowing.

That said, the 4052R pulls ahead in ways that matter more across a full day of work. Its implement hydraulic flow comes in at 11.2 gpm versus the L5060 GST's 9.8 gpm, and steering hydraulic flow is 6.2 gpm against the Kubota's 4.9 gpm. More flow means your loader responds crisper and your implements cycle faster, especially when you are running a mid-mount mower or a front blade alongside a rear attachment. The eHydro transmission and standard cruise control also reduce operator fatigue on longer passes in ways a glide-shift transmission simply cannot match.

Beyond the specs, buying a 4052R through Koenig means you have genuine John Deere parts and trained technicians at stores across Indiana and Ohio, plus strong resale value when the time comes to trade up. Come talk with our team and we can walk you through a side-by-side demo on your own ground.
