Spec Comparison

John Deere 4044M HST/PRT vs. NEW HOLLAND BOOMER 41

A straight, spec-by-spec look for cut buyers across Ohio and Indiana. The numbers are only half the decision.

John Deere 2032R Compact Tractor

Is the John Deere 4044M HST/PRT right for you?

Most Customers shopping in this class are running a mix of loader work, finish mowing, and maybe a tiller or box blade out back. They want a tractor that can handle a full day without nickel-and-diming them on downtime. The 4044M gives you a meaningful edge right where it counts on the working end: 2,500 pounds of lift capacity at 24 inches behind the link arms versus 2,116 pounds on the Boomer 41 in cab configuration. That gap matters when you are picking up a loaded bucket or hanging a heavier three-point implement. You also get 11.2 gallons per minute of implement hydraulic flow, which keeps your loader and rear remotes responsive under load. The Boomer 41 specs do not publish comparable hydraulic flow numbers, so you are working with less visibility into what that machine can actually deliver in the field.

The Boomer 41 does come with cruise control as standard where the 4044M lists it as optional, and the New Holland carries a slight wheelbase edge at 73.2 inches versus 73 inches. Those are real differences, but they are not differences most working Customers feel day to day. What they do feel is whether their dealer can get them a part or a technician when something goes wrong at the wrong time of year.

That is where we come in. Koenig has stores across Indiana and Ohio, genuine John Deere parts on the shelf, and service teams who know these tractors. If you want to put the 4044M side by side with your actual workload and talk through the right transmission and options for your operation, come find us and we will work through it together.
