A straight, spec-by-spec look for cut buyers across Ohio and Indiana. The numbers are only half the decision.
The Customer looking at the 3025E is usually someone with a few acres to manage, maybe a hobby farm, a large yard, or a rural property where they need a dependable compact tractor for mowing, loader work, and light chores. They want something easy to operate without a steep learning curve, and they want to know it will start and run when they need it. The 3025E fits that profile well. The hydrostatic transmission is standard, so there is no clutch to manage and no gear hunting on slopes or around obstacles. The Workmaster 40 does offer more raw horsepower and higher hydraulic flow, and we will not pretend otherwise, but for the tasks most of these Customers are actually doing day to day, the 3025E delivers more than enough capability in a lighter, more maneuverable package at 2,603 pounds versus the Workmaster's 3,770 pounds.
Where the 3025E really separates itself is everything that happens after the sale. Genuine John Deere parts, local service technicians who know this machine, and a resale market that consistently rewards the green and yellow. The Workmaster 40 is a capable tractor, but support for it in Ohio and Indiana is thinner. When something needs attention during a busy season, proximity and parts availability matter as much as any spec on paper.
If you want to put the 3025E side by side with your actual workload, our team at any of our stores across Indiana and Ohio is glad to walk through it with you.
