Is the John Deere 3025D right for you?

The Customer looking at the 3025D is usually someone with a few acres to manage, maybe a hobby farm, a large yard, or a rural property where the work is real but not commercial-scale. They want a capable, right-sized tractor that handles loader work, a box blade, or a small finish mower without paying for horsepower they will never use. That is exactly where the 3025D lives. At 24.4 hp and 20.7 hp at the PTO, it handles the category of implements most of these Customers actually own or plan to buy.

The 3035D does carry a genuine advantage in raw power, putting out 34.2 hp and 30.4 hp at the PTO, along with slightly higher hydraulic flow on both the steering and implement circuits. If a Customer is running a heavier rotary cutter, a larger loader bucket, or plans to grow into more demanding work, that extra headroom matters and we will say so honestly. But for the Customer whose list of tasks fits the 3025D's capability range, paying for the larger machine means carrying costs and a price premium that simply do not come back to them in daily use. Both machines share the same wheelbase, the same hitch category, and the same lift capacity at the link arms, so the working geometry is identical.

Either way, you are buying into the same Koenig service network across Indiana and Ohio, the same genuine John Deere parts availability, and the same uptime support when you need it. If you want to walk through your specific implement list and make sure you are in the right seat, our local team is glad to work through it with you.
