Is the John Deere 1025R right for you?

Most Customers looking at the 1025R are working a few acres around the house or a small hobby farm: mowing, running a front loader, maybe tilling a garden plot. They want something nimble enough to get in tight spots and easy enough that anyone on the property can jump on and go. The 1025R fits that picture well. It weighs in at 1,556 pounds in open-station trim versus the KIOTI's 2,701 pounds, and its 57.1-inch wheelbase is noticeably shorter than the CK2610's 65.7 inches. On a residential lot or around outbuildings, that difference in footprint is something you feel every single time you turn around.

Now, to be straight with you: the KIOTI does show a higher rated lift capacity and a slightly stronger PTO number on paper. If you are running heavy three-point implements day in and day out, that is worth noting. But for the work most 1025R buyers actually do, the Deere's 18.2 PTO horsepower is plenty, and standard cruise control adds real comfort on longer mowing runs that the KIOTI simply does not offer. The 1025R also carries a shorter, lighter frame that makes loader work feel more responsive rather than sluggish.

Where the conversation really tips is after the sale. Our Koenig stores across Indiana and Ohio stock genuine John Deere parts, and our service teams know these machines inside and out. Resale on a well-kept 1025R stays strong too. Come talk with your local Koenig team and we can walk through exactly how this tractor fits what you are doing on your property.
